Hemo Concepts Awarded Accreditation by ACCME®
To Provide Continuing Medical Education for Physicians
(Eatontown, N.J. — April 12, 2007) — Hemo Concepts, Inc. today announced that it has been surveyed by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) and awarded accreditation for two years as a provider of continuing medical education for physicians.
Hemo Concepts’ Integrated Blood Conservation Program uses an evidence-based outcomes process, combining on-line continuing medical education, on-site training, and patient outcomes data analysis to promote appropriate blood utilization in hospitals. The company’s e-BOS ® (Evidence-Based Outcomes System) System utilizes powerful web-based tools to shorten the educational process, allowing physicians and nurses to quickly reduce their reliance on blood transfusions in patient care. Nationally renowned hospitals are reporting significant reductions in donor blood transfusions using Hemo Concepts’ Integrated Blood Conservation Programs.

The ACCME rigorously evaluates the overall continuing medical education programs of institutions according to standards adopted by all seven sponsoring organizations of the ACCME. These are: the American Board of Medical Specialties; the American Hospital Association; the American Medical Association; the Association for Hospital Medical Education; the Association of American Medical Colleges; the Council of Medical Specialty Societies; and the Federation of State Medical Boards of the U.S., Inc.
