What does Hemo Concepts do?
Autotransfusion Services (ATS). We supply ATS technicians to hospitals. The
services these technicians provide reduces the amount of blood and blood
products used in the OR by recycling the patients own blood and blood products.
Integrated Blood Conservation (IBC). Through consulting contracts we help
hospitals develop Blood Conservation programs. Through Staffing Contracts we
develop and run Blood Conservation Programs for hospitals. These programs are
integrated because they apply across the whole spectrum of care given at the
hospital.
Using less transfused blood and blood products produces better medical outcomes
for the patient and better financial outcomes for the Hospital.
e-BOSŪ (Evidenced- based outcome System). e-BOS is a web based platform that
has two components. The first component is an e-Learning system that provides
hospitals with the latest information on blood conservation taught by the
leaders in the field.
The second component is an e-Reporting system that provides a HIPAA- compliant,
evidence based relational database that allows a hospital to confirm both
patient and financial outcomes. This will also allow Hemo Concepts to develop a
global database to confirm the utility of its programs.
